Timekeeper
gives Chairpersons and Organisers of Lectures, Debates and Presentations a
polite way to remind speakers of their allocated time. Speakers see their remaining
talk time displayed on Timekeeper's digital display and hear a gentle reminder bleep every minute
during the closing minutes of their talk. They hear a more insistent triple
bleep when they must finish. Green, Amber and Red lights
also show the progress through the talk time -- Green shows from the start of
the talk time until a pre-arranged Amber Warning period. Red shows when the
Amber Warning period has elapsed. Two styles of Timekeeper are
available -- Standalone (just use the wall-plug power supply and go) and USB
Timekeeper (several may be remotely-controlled from a PC running Windows98 with
a USB port) Simple controls on
the Standalone Timekeeper
set the total talk time (99 minutes max.) and Amber Warning period. The Bleeps
may be set On or Off. Similar controls appear on the
PC screen for USB Timekeepers. |
